red dot award（紅點獎）源自德國。red dot是與iF獎齊名的一個工業(yè)設(shè)計大獎，是世界上知名設(shè)計競賽中最大最有影響的競賽之一。下面請跟我們一起感受德國紅點設(shè)計大獎2009年創(chuàng)意家居。以下設(shè)計作品風格各異，或簡約大方，或色彩炫目，或造型奇異，令人叫絕?？傊?，所有作品都給人以眼前一亮的感覺，沖擊著我們的視覺。設(shè)計師們大膽的創(chuàng)新精神和豐富的想象力更是讓我佩服不已。跟我們一起，讓我們盡情去領(lǐng)略它們的獨特風格與設(shè)計吧！

一、Comma Chair

Comma’s powerful lines emerge by substracting elemental forms from a cube. The cylindrical section removed from the base of the back provides space for comfort and room for garments. The double depth of the back offers good suspension and support and is visually and haptically inviting. 

二、Don Corleone Lounge Sofa

Straight lines frame the opulently upholstered surfaces of the Don Corleone sofa, which want to abduct the owner into a gently caressing seating pleasure. Elaborate seaming art with ornamental stripes worked into felled seams is a striking design detail. Integrated drawing-ins in the seat, arm- and backrests create a play of light and shadow emphasising a smooth inviting look. As three-part corner group or four-seater in two different seat depths Don Corleone integrates into any room. 

三、GJ Chair

red dot award: product design 2009

The design of the GJ Chair is a remake of the known draft created by the designer Grete Jalk in 1963. This chair is a classic in design history. On grounds of its complexity only about 300 copies were originally produced, very few of which still exist today. Form, function and finish should be realised in this chair like in the original. That is why the new GJ Chair is also made of the original wood species teak and Oregon pine.

四、hettinject VB insert Invisible Connection Fitting

red dot award: product design 2009

This fitting is the basis for invisible connections between lightweight boards – 38 or 50 mm thickness with 4 mm outer layers. The fitting is inserted edgeways into the board and fixed to both outer layers simultaneously by glue forced through specially designed channels. Balanced distribution of forces ensures a solid connection and an end product with high load-bearing capacity. 

五、Library Shelf System

“Library” is a modular object shelf of a timeless minimalist design language that reinterprets the idea of a shelf. Made of HPL material – an innovative material since it is long-lasting and therefore suitable for indoor and outdoor use – this shelf system provides the most varied contents with a durable and common encasement. 

七、Lifeline Cabinet Furniture Programme
honourable mention
red dot award: product design 2009

The Lifeline cabinet furniture programme comprises 19 freely combinable individual units. Horizontal lines stained in a dark hue, which recurrently run through the furniture fronts, are a distinctive design feature. The fronts can be opened by an intricately milled handle bar.
