red dot award（紅點獎）源自德國。red dot是與iF獎齊名的一個工業(yè)設計大獎，是世界上知名設計競賽中最大最有影響的競賽之一。下面請跟我們一起感受德國紅點設計大獎2010年創(chuàng)意家居。以下幾款獲獎設計作品都堪稱經(jīng)典之作，設計美觀大方，選材優(yōu)良。所有作品都給人以眼前一亮的感覺，沖擊著我們的視覺。設計師們大膽的創(chuàng)新精神和豐富的想象力更是讓我佩服不已。跟我們一起，讓我們盡情去領(lǐng)略它們的獨特風格與設計吧！

一、arion E7 Table

Thanks to its remarkably generous dimensions even a large group of people may comfortably sit down at this table. The aesthetics of the wood is a real eye-catcher. The basic concept succeeded in combining the solid wood surfaces with delicate optics. The Varion E7 table version offers various options for its target group. The visually striking solid wood tabletop can be manufactured with a length of up to four metres depending on the type of wood and the table version. Statics is consistent even with the longest version due to an innovative product idea. The patented trigonomic system with a tightened steel rope provides for the necessary stability. In particular, the relation between the reduced thickness of the tabletop and the table length surprises the observer at first sight. Strong folding at the edges reduces the thickness of the tabletop from 28 mm to minimalist 5 mm. 

二、WK 409 artenaPanel Wall

 This construction is particularly focussing on its elegant functionality. Flat screens and varied accessories can be accommodated with a striking visual effect. As a floating wall in front of a wall the artena panel wall offers manifold possibilities of use. Corpus elements, especially robust shelves, heavy TV wall holders and other technical devices may be systematically, individually and invisibly stowed away. Moreover, the panel construction with a thickness of 8 cm allows optimum and discreet wiring. Furthermore, the panel wall has the advantage that corpuses up to 56 cm thick can be inserted in a pending position. The laterally protruding elements create an expressive form, which can be shifted inwards or designed flush-mounted. This design detail lends the fronts the optically neutral effect of a facade; all the same, they are elegant and fulfil their functions.

三、WK 696 puntoArmchair

 Conceiving the individual armchair punto it was possible to realise much comfort in a delicate form. The seating position of the rotatable punto armchair can be changed at user’s discretion by activating the integrated adjustment points. Thus the seating furniture is quickly changed into a lying or relaxing mode without great effort. The foot support, equipped with a battery-driven motor, increases lying comfort. The height of the backrest and headrest may be individually adapted to size. The look of the modern shell form harmoniously adapts to the most different living furniture. punto is intended to be a stand-alone piece of furniture without gaining too much dominance. 

四、atelier Desk

This desk made of solid, naturally treated wood renders an impression of essence and originality. In the style of the functionality of an architect’s desk, the height-adjustable trestles allow ergonomic working, personalised to the individual user’s body size. 

五、Menta Chair

The design of the Menta chair is intended to be an aesthetic and functional metaphor of the leaves, which are present in nature. Lightness is communicated through the seat and the supportless back. Two leaf-like veins growing from the aluminium profile that works as joint for both pieces evoke the organic form and the resistance of the leaves in nature. The main features of Menta are adaptability, flexibility and low weight. The aluminium profile and the different possibilities of colouring are its most remarkable characteristics. One of the most important differentiating factors is the aluminium profile that joins back and seat so that Menta seems to be a “one-piece” chair. 

六、Butler room divider

The Butler room divider from the Elements Collection is characterised by a clear and pleasing appearance. It can be used as a room divider, sideboard, office cabinet or kitchen element, fulfilling different functions in each case. With an innovative sliding door technology, the look of the room divider can be changed time and again, while also facilitating easy access to stored items. The interior includes a refrigerator, which expands the fields of use for the Butler. The basic frame and inner sliding door are available in different lacquer finishes; the outer sliding door is available in 12 kinds of wood and lacquering. Upon request, the Butler can also be manufactured with an outer cover of lacobel glass or leather, giving the divider an extravagant look. 

七、Drift armchair

Even by itself, the Drift armchair has an autonomous look to it; as a pair it conforms to its original idea. Placing the armchairs in a mirror-image arrangement results in what appears to be a small, private communication centre. In everyday life, this lively use produces a captivating contrast to the rather puristic appearance of the armchair, which combines interesting contradictions: the large, curved form of the backrest and the opulent volume of the seat cushion generate a suggestive moment of suspense. The chair rests on a rotatable base plate so that the user can turn comfortably towards his opposite number. The swinging backrest also serves as a generous armrest. The chair is available in two variants, each with a mirror-image shape, and in different fabrics and leather in many colours to choose from.
