On June 14, 2010, the Tree Museum situated on 75,000 square meters of breathtaking land near
Upper Lake Zurich in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, will officially open its gates.The Tree Museum
will exhibit individual trees from the collection of Enzo Enea, the Swiss landscape architect and
one of the world’s most prominent tree collectors.

At any given time there will be approximately 120 trees on view, subject to an exhibition schedule
which will present ‘theme viewings’ focused on different types of trees, ways of shaping and more.

The Tree Museum will soon also open up to an active involvement with the arts.
Landscape “artist” Enzo Enea completed the Tree Museum in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, right
next to the brand new headquarters for Enea Garden Design designed by Miami based
Oppenheim Architecture + Design .
The museum includes 50 different species on the site of a 14th century monastery, some of them
130 years old. These have been collected by Enzo himself for the past 17 years, sometimes
rescuing trees threatened by construction or urban expansion. The collection includes over 2,000
species on an adjacent 2.5 acre park.

來(lái)自瑞士景觀建筑師，也是世界上最杰出的樹(shù)收藏家 Enzo Enea的作品。這些樹(shù)種在中國(guó)和東亞很常見(jiàn)。但是在瑞士當(dāng)?shù)貐s不是這樣的情況。
這個(gè)博物館大約收集了50種，120顆左右的樹(shù)木，如樟子松，玉蘭等等。一些來(lái)自一個(gè)14世紀(jì)的修道院，樹(shù)齡超過(guò)了130歲。還有一些是在過(guò)去17年間，被建筑和城市擴(kuò)張所威脅到的樹(shù)木，他們被景觀建筑師拯救。收集的范圍也是相當(dāng)大。

樹(shù)的博物館已于2010年6月14日在瑞士蘇黎世湖邊的Rapperswil-Jona開(kāi)放。在一系列開(kāi)放空間中，為樹(shù)木創(chuàng)造了集合美學(xué)，可持續(xù)發(fā)展，歷史，生命等的獨(dú)特展示方式。
設(shè)計(jì)師對(duì)景觀的熱情和不懈的創(chuàng)作激情產(chǎn)生出了這樣一個(gè)別具一格的花園，并日以繼夜的進(jìn)行推敲，直到這個(gè)偉大的工程完工。
