我們將“無止境室內設計”項目視為開發(fā)竹子潛在價值的機會——以意想不到的創(chuàng)新方式運用竹子。竹子是一種傳統(tǒng)的亞洲建筑材料，它不僅價格便宜，而且對環(huán)境的適應性強。因此，這套公寓得以成為測試這種材料的實驗室。 

　　這套公寓里，幾乎所有的東西都是以竹子為材料的，包括大部分地板、天花板、窗戶上的裝飾、家具、大部分廚房和浴室用具。我們還設計了兩個用竹子做的新裝置來分隔空間：一個是能從中心節(jié)點張開形成墻壁、走廊的折壁，另一個是能由一個圓柱體打開形成彎曲的屏風的隔墻。有了這些裝置，公寓的居住者就可以根據(jù)不斷變化的需要靈活地設計自己的空間。( 藝術中國網(wǎng) http://www.artcn.cn/ )

Infinite Bamboo

　　We approached the Infinite Interior project as an opportunity to explore the possibility of using bamboo-a traditional Asian building material that is both inexpensive and environmentally sustainable-in unexpected and innovative ways. The apartment unit is therefore treated as a laboratory for testing this material. Literally everything in the unit is made of bamboo, including most floors, ceilings, window coverings, furnishings, and most kitchen and bathroom appliances.

　　We have also designed two new space-dividing systems, both made of bamboo: one is a folding partition that expands from a central node to create walls and corridors; the other is a curving partition that unrolls from a cylindrical column to create sinuous screens. These systems provide the apartment's residents with the flexibility to design their space according to changing needs.
